On the Issues
I've mentioned before that poorly planned growth is the reason that I decided to run for Brentsville District Supervisor. That is very true. But there's more to it than that. See, mismanaged growth has a direct impact on our lives every day. Like many people, I get up every morning and get my kids ready for school, get them on the bus, and then head out into Gainesville and the surrounding area to take on the day. It doesn't matter how many conservative blogs and websites I read, if my kids education is lacking all the validation in the world won't help. I worry about our kids attending schools that are busting at the seams. You and I have probably seen each other stuck at the light at Linton Hall and 29. We've seen new roads constructed almost as an afterthought with little or no regard for traffic safety. These roads need traffic lights too!
